Administrative Assistant (SE Tucson / Vail)

We are looking for some help around the office, so to speak. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical assitance to the Office Manager. Duties would include some accounts payable, accounts recievable, processing of payroll, filling and general organizing.
We will offer full time work to start, so the right person can learn our method of these duties. It may remain fulltime, or could be part time work, 25 to 30 hours per week. It really depends on the schedule of the Office Manager, as this is a dual role position.
The right person must be able to effectively:
-Use Microsoft Word, Excell.
-Use Quickbooks accounting software, or at least be familiar with Quickbooks.
-Provide services in office administration & bookkeeping.
-Record accounts recievable.
-Prepare, verify and process invoices and coding payment documents.
-Maintain listing of accounts recievable and payables.
-Verify employee hours of work with military time, deductions, etc…
-Maintain a filing system for all financial and employee documents.
We also want to know that you can greet and assist visitors, answer phones and direct calls properly.
As you learn and grow with us, we would like to know that you have basic knowledge, and will be able to perform the following in the future:
-Computerized Point of Sale Systems.
-Quickbooks payroll software.
-Prepare vendor checks.
-Prepare manual checks.
-Process backup reports.
-Prepare profit & loss statements.
-Process payroll
We want someone that is honest and trustworthy, respectful, and demonstrates sound work ethics.
We do pre-employement drug testing.
This is a golf course and restaurant located in Vail, AZ. We have grown to a point that we need some STRONG help in the office.
