Role:

We are looking for an experienced, well-rounded software developer able to flourish in a diverse development setting, with a focus on front-end and MVC framework development. Applicant should be a self-starter who can work with limited direction in a small team environment. Good communication and teamwork skills, super technical skills, and a talent for quick, independent learning are required.

Required Experience

-Minimum 5 years of systems or web application software development experience in a production environment.

-Expertise with web server software (apache2), linux (ubuntu), scripting (bash), and programming (python, C++, javascript).

-Experience in scripting and automation, including linux CLI utilities.

-Experience with modern MVC frameworks, Django preferred.

-Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science strongly preferred).

Additional Experience

-8+ years of software development experience in a production environment.

-Experience with modern UI design in a web application setting (including AJAX).

-Experience writing efficient SQL queries.

-Familiarity with the HTML and CSS standards, as well as cross-browser compatibility testing.

-MS or PhD in Computer Science.
