A leading tutoring company seeks to hire talented tutors to work with at-risk students at schools in Tucson. Sure Prep Learning provides supplemental reading and math tutoring services to students at K – 12 in Nevada, Arizona, and California. Tutoring is provided free of charge to qualifying children from low income families who attend underperforming schools. Tutors are paid $22-38 per hour depending on group size. Tutors work with a small group of students two to four afternoons a week for 3-4 months.

Required Qualifications.

-Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card
-Minimum 60 college credits
- One to two years’ experience teaching or tutoring
- Subject matter expertise in Math, Reading, and/or Writing
- Availability during after-school hours
- High-speed internet access
- Neat and presentable appearance

Preferred Qualifications.
- Current or former teaching certification
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Experience with at-risk students K-12
