Associate Bankruptcy Attorney (East Valley)

Seeking an Arizona admitted attorney with 0-2 years of experience.
Position will be responsible for handling a share of the firm’s bankruptcy cases from initial consultation through closing of the case. This will include, inter alia, meeting with new prospective clients, researching questions of law, reviewing petitions prepared by the firm’s paralegal staff, assisting in signing appointments with clients, appearing at Section 341 Creditor’s Meetings, communicating with creditors and counsel for creditors, communicating with case trustee’s and attorneys at the US Trustee’s Office, drafting motions and responses, and supervising firm staff.
Some bankruptcy experience is preferred, but not required. Experience in family law, litigation, tax, or estate planning is helpful as well. For applicants without bankruptcy experience, a clear understanding of what a bankruptcy firm does, and a desire to practice bankruptcy/debtor rights law is required.
