Our Company provides performers, music, lights, video and sound for local corporate events, weddings and bar mitzvahs. As part of our services, we provide sound systems, uplights, other décor lighting, video screens and other services. We want YOU, if you are a detailed person who is eager to grow and to serve our clients and staff in a fast-paced environment. This multifaceted position will involve aspects of both A/V Tech and Manager. We need someone who has experience with audiovisual equipment (projectors, theatrical lighting, etc), Photoshop or Photoshop Elements, MS Excel and Word, who can spell well, is energetic, professional, and is able to multi-task. Experience as a team leader, general manager, project manager, equipment manager or assistant manager is preferred.

Ultimately, this position could lead to promotion from AV to general manager or video production manager.

Some of the position’s responsibilities will include:
<br>

<br>
· Confirming audio-visual equipment is ready for events
<br>
· Tracking all equipment that is checked in / out.
<br>
· Troubleshooting basic A.V. system issues
<br>
· Scanning photos
<br>
· Simple photo and video editing for our photo montage service
<br>
· Graphic design of our photo favor borders and gobos
<br>
· Procuring Music for events
<br>
· Designing and maintaining our showroom
<br>
· Assisting the General Manager with various projects
<br>
· Communicating with clients, MC’s, DJ’s and dancers regarding event details
<br>
· Assisting with recruiting new MC’s, DJ’s and dancers
<br>
· Setting up equipment at trade show booths
<br>

Some of the position’s responsibilities MAY include:

· Shooting video at events, or shooting in-house training videos
<br>
· Calling on potential clients to offer our Audio/Visual services
<br>
· Occasionally delivering and setting up equipment at events
<br>
· Occasionally performing technical services at events
<br>

This is primarily a daytime weekday position with flexible hours. Pay could be hourly or salary, depending on schedule and experience. Pay would be competitive within the audio visual & technical theater industries.
