Benefits Business Partner to support our Americas facilities while located in
Phoenix, Arizona.If you are searching for a company where you can make a difference, we’re
looking for you. This role will focus on designing and developing benefits
solutions in line with the global benefits strategy and Gore’s unique culture.Responsibilities will include:
-Conduct analysis of data and market trends for health and welfare plans.
-Participate in market surveys for the Americas
-Support day-to-day operations of benefit programs for the US
-Drive annual open enrollment process for US with a goal for ongoing process
improvement.
-Conduct contract review and renewals for benefit programs for the region.
-Support specialized needs of business where needed, especially for
geographically remote areas.
-Provide consultancy for compliance and regulatory issues surrounding benefits
programs.
-Manage external carriers and vendors (relationship, metrics, performance and
issues.)
-Track financial data and participate in preparing financial forecasts for the
function.
-Provide targeted educational opportunities for business leaders and associates
in helping to create informed consumers of healthcare.
-Conduct research and participate in projects relating to benefits and total
rewards strategy.
-Participate in the further build of a global total rewards function and team
for Gore.Qualified candidates will possess:
-Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience
with health and welfare benefit plan design, development, implementation and
administration OR a HS diploma and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant
experience as described above.
-Demonstrated ability in analyzing medical claims and health care data,
identifying trends, and comparing with national demographics and benchmarks is
required.
-Broad understanding and experience working with global benefits principles and
strategies is preferred.
-Strong interpersonal skills in order to influence change in a unique business
environment.
-Strong communication skills for delivering benefits information to wide range
of constituents.
-Creativity and innovation in providing solutions in different business
scenarios.
-Ability to effectively manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in
highly matrixed organization.
-Ability to leverage systems and processes to maximize benefits delivery and
administration.
