Case Manager/Care Coordinator (Tucson)

Immediate opening for a full time Care Coordinator of a non-medical home care company that services the Tucson area.
We provide care giving services to Long Term Care clients in their own homes.
Two years verifiable Management Experience required managing other employees and Ten Years working experience.
The position requires:
1. Business Development through networking and marketing the position requires bringing in new business on a regular basis. This is a priority responsibility.
2. Client intakes and follow up visits in the clients home (your own transportation).
3. Scheduling staff with clients and keeping accurate records of staffing.
4. Office duties: phones, tracking employees, filing, organizing spreadsheets, compliance for employee certifications, answering incoming calls, and all other aspects of managing daily office activities as needed.
5. Recruiting, hiring and conducting mandatory employee trainings. Filing all new employee documentation to payroll and completing background and reference checks.
6. Compile accurate weekly schedules and submit for payroll.
7. History working with Long term care contracts is a plus this position requires communication and authorization through case management for in home services.
All of this must be done accurately, timely and with minimal to no supervision on a daily basis.
Must be able to be on call for evening and weekend calls.
Must have a high level of computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Email and internet skills.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel as required for client visits.
This is not an inclusive office position as you are in the field doing case management and supervising employees. You will be in the office as needed to process your own paperwork and reports that are also a requirement of the position. If you like a fast paced job that involves versatility then this is for you.
- Must pass a background check and have or obtain a valid fingerprint card upon hire.
-Some human and or health services experience to train and supervise care givers in the home providing ADL’s to assure appropriate care is being provided.
-Bilingual in Spanish is also a plus
