Duties:
• Assists in the implementation of procedures and protocol for efficient program functioning and utilization.
• Insures that assigned shift follows agency guidelines and policies, monitors staff and records to insure compliance.
• Responsible for assigned personnel activities within this program, including, but not limited to:
o Interview, selection and training of employees
o Evaluation of employee performance
o Provides supervision as assigned
• Attends and participates in agency related meetings and trainings as appropriate.
• Supervises and evaluates Child Care Specialists.
• Meets regularly with Program Director for individual supervision.
• Participates in staff meetings, committees and trainings as appropriate.
• Participates as a member of unit Multi-Disciplinary Team.
• Participates in continuing education and training especially related to the field of child abuse and neglect.
• Meets regularly for supervisor staffings.
• Maintains daily staffing schedule.
• Interviews, selects and trains new employees.Minimum Requirements:
• Education must consist of a Bachelor’s Degree in a social service field or two years of experience in a group home/shelter setting.
• Must have experience in word processing in a Windows environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have at least 1 year prior supervisory experience, preferably in a shelter or group home setting.
• Must have 2 years experience meeting the basic needs of children.
• Must have valid Arizona Driver’s license and pass CCC driver’s test.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
• Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and needs of clients.- Location: Mesa
