The International School of Tucson in Tucson is seeking a Lower Primary Chinese teacher / Teacher Assistant to teach in our Pre-School (ages 3 — 6) or Junior School (ages 5 — 12) Sections.

This appointment commences July 2011. The ideal candidate would also teach in our 2012 Summer Programme in June and July. We also have a need for a very part-time teacher in our upper primary second-language programme.

Candidates should be native speakers, and must have a degree at bachelor’s level or higher, teaching credential and 3 — 5 years’ relevant experience; IBPYP and international experience would be advantageous. Candidates should also be willing and able to offer extra-curricular activities (particularly Science, Science, Soccer and/or Basketball), be resourceful and adaptable and be willing to work in a young and growing school.
