Our client is currently seeking a qualified Cisco Technician for a two month (possibly longer) $40/hr per week contract engagement in Phoenix, AZ.
Successful candidate should be a CCNA level Engineer and must be comfortable handling customer incidents, providing network administration and support and possess installation and troubleshooting expertise in a wide variety of industry environments. Individual must have a minimum of 3+ years overall Cisco networking experience (design, deployment and support preferred). Strong working knowledge installing, configuring and supporting Cisco LAN, WAN and Wireless LAN hardware. Special consideration will be given to those individuals with Cisco R&S experience and NOC background. Solid RIP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP routing protocol experience and a sound understanding of the basics of IT security and ITIL process plan is a must.

Strong communication, presentation, excellent English speaking skills are critical.

Requirements:
• Active or former CCNA technical certification is highly desired;, however candidates with commensurate experience will be considered.
• Strong LAN/WAN experience
• Excellent Cisco Platform
• Proficient in Cisco IOS firewall
• Capability to calculate subnets
• Cisco Platform, Router/Switch installation, configuration and maintenance
• Proficient in DNS/DHCP/TCP/IP & troubleshooting network connectivity issues
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Deep, extensive knowledge and experience with Cisco technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Info Science, Engineering or a related discipline, along with 3+ years enterprise-class, IP networking/technology solutions.
