Disability Development Resources, LLC has an opening for a Direct Support Professional in a group home. Services are provided to two Consumers and the home is located in West Mesa near a freeway.
 

 
The shifts are as follows:
 

 
• Monday – Friday 6:00am – 10:00am (ending time varies slightly)
 
• Friday 9:00pm – 7:00am
 
• Sunday – 5:00pm – 6:00am
 

 
Please note: These shifts are not available every weekend as the Consumers may visit their parents at home. When the consumers visit their parents, the Sunday shift begins at 3:30pm.
 

 
Approximately 30 hours of orientation and training will be required; this includes training with current staff. The DSP must attend mandatory monthly staff meetings, held during the week.
 

 
Pay rate is $9.30 per hour, with DD experience. A sleep rate is paid for 4 hours per overnight at $7.25/hour.
 

 
DSP should possess good communication skills (both written and verbal), and have a desire to work with individuals with developmental disabilities. Must have good people skills: patience, supportive nature, personable, engaging. Must also be able to follow specific directions and complete paperwork accurately and on time.
 

 
Additional qualifications:
 
• High School Diploma or GED
 
• At least 3 months caregiver experience with DD individuals
 
• 21 years of age
 
• Pass a fingerprint background check (or possess a fingerprint clearance card)
 
• Email capabilities
 
• Clear driving record
 
• CIT training is preferred
