JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Electrical assembly, critical device configuration, inspections, and troubleshooting.
• Position follows methods and documentation in performing wiring, component installation, and hand soldering – work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions.
• Perform routine testing, checkout, troubleshooting, prototype building, environmental testing, and simple developmental engineering tasks.

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS:
• High school diploma with vocational training in electronic circuitry (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of IRL’s quality system.
• Familiarity with electrical/ electronic circuits.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and ability to learn to repair electronic devices.
• Ability to learn electronic test equipment (voltmeters, multi-meters, etc.) and common hand power tools.
• Experience in Windows, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Domestic and international travel may be required, from time to time, for this position.
