    Job Description:

    Mobile Doctors, a physician practice management company specializing in making house calls to geriatric and homebound patients in 5 states, seeks a college graduate with a healthcare background for our Manager – Clinical Coordinating position in our Phoenix Branch Office.

    Summary: The Manager – Clinical Coordinating assumes the responsibility for the clinical aspect of Mobile Doctors including, but not limited to, the management, administration and operation of the department.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    ·Directs and coordinates the clinical staff
    ·Coordinates physician and clinical staff meetings
    ·Responsible for training and coordination of training for new clinical staff
    ·Performs periodic audits of medical records to ensure accurate documentation
    ·Calculate staffing needs in conjunction with the Branch Manager and Director of Staff Recruitment to ensure that the department is properly staffed
    ·Interview new clinical applicants in conjunction with the Branch Manager
    ·Foster productive practices which reflect the Mobile Doctors philosophy of efficiency and productivity in the delivery of patient care
    ·Review activity logs to ensure accuracy of documentation
    ·Proper handling of patient and agency complaints regarding clinical issues
    ·Ensure that daily, weekly and monthly reports are accurately completed and on time
    ·Evaluates the performance of all clinical personnel with input from physicians
    ·Ensure that correct and accurate documentation is done by all clinical personnel
    ·Direct and manage new nursing agency referrals to the proper agency in conjunction with the Director of Marketing
    ·Meet with new and current vendors regarding clinical issues
    ·Be reactive to problems that arise
    ·Be proactive in recognizing potential problems before they occur, rectifying them in advance
    ·Balance workloads between Clinical Coordinators finding the best possible fits
    ·Settle differences between Clinical Coordinators without bias
    ·Work with the Director of Medical Assistants, if applicable, to approve and deliver requested stock medications for physicians
    ·Able to work with and handle a variety of staffing and personality conflicts as they arise
    ·Miscellaneous duties as assigned

    Education and Experience

    • A Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related discipline, or equivalent training/education (such as certifications in the healthcare field).
    • Experience in management, administration, or holding other leadership positions is a plus.
    • At least 1 year of experience in the healthcare field is highly preferred.
    • Be detail oriented, have good problem solving skills, and be trustworthy.
    • Possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
    • The ability to handle confidential matters and information.
    • A solid work ethic and self-motivation.

    Compensation / Benefits

    Starting hourly compensation for this position is between $14-$18/hr based on level of training and experience. Overtime pay is also available. Following a 100 day performance review, there will be an opportunity for a performance based raise. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes a matching 401k, health insurance, dental & vision insurance, life insurance, AD&D insurance, flexible spending account, 2 weeks vacation, 4 personal/sick days, and 6 paid major holidays.
