We are hiring for the following position:ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Job Summary:
Participates in the overall management of clients and promotional events all over the United States & Canada. Direct client relations, recruiting, interviewing and staffing of Talent, building solid relationships, logistical support, program budgets, reporting, and event on-call accountability after work hours. Must be self-motivated, work well under pressure, be a creative forward-thinker, positive, detail-oriented, over-communicator, and also able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, competitive industry. Excellent communication skills required and must love people! This is a high-energy, fast-paced industry and definitely breaks out of the “9-5” mold. This position works closely with their Account Team Manager and other members of their account team, as well as other account teams, and people within the company.
Essential Functions: (Please note: This is not an event planning position)
• Screening, interviewing, staffing and managing Talent for various promotional event positions (This includes calling to check-in/verify talent’s presence at all assigned events.)
• Excellent phone manner, writing skills, and presentation skills
• Client communication, consulting and relationship building
• Properly maintain all existing accounts assigned, as well as, assist other AE’s with theirs as needed
• With direction from Leadership, must meet criteria for client service goals and program success rates with given accounts
• Maintain program files with all project details and information on events
• Maintain talent files with project details and feedback on performance
• Possess and maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry, our products and services, as well as those of our competitors and clients
• Meeting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, reporting on key accounts, decisions, and activityJob Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of relative experience (preferably in events, PR, or experiential marketing – hospitality/customer service experience is also a plus!)
• Must be an “A Player” (anything less will not last in our environment)
• Must have a positive attitude
• Must have high-energy, be passionate, self-motivated, and have a great sense of urgency
• Must be able to communicate clearly and exceptionally both verbally and in writing
• Must be well-organized and detail-oriented
• Must be a creative, forward-thinker
• Must have excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people
• Must have professional appearance and persona
• Must be willing to work long hours as necessary, especially under tight deadlines (this includes weekends and other time periods outside of regular office hours)
• Must be able to handle pressure well and work in a fast-paced competitive and booming industry
• Must have the ability to manage a wide variety of tasks at once, with a strong emphasis on leadership
• Must be a high-level contributor
• Must have excellent computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel and various other applications
• Bachelor’s degree or other related experience requiredStarting Salary: $35,000 – with the opportunity to advance to (up to) $38,000 in six months based on a performance review. This position is also eligible for the company’s performance-based bi-annual bonus/profit sharing program which will result in additional compensation. Benefits and 2 weeks personal leave per year after 90 days.
