We are a fast-growing, family-owned, Mesa based and e-commerce company in need of a Graphic Designer/Web Designer/SEO Specialist to design and redesign various web sites, with an emphasis on SEO techniques. Must be extremely experienced in web design – both from scratch and redesigns.
 

 
This is for a full time position and would like the applicant to start as soon as possible.
 

 
Knowledge of Joomla, VirtueMart, Macromedia Dreamweaver, HTML, PHP, Fireworks, Photoshop, CSV files, XML files, and back-end database programs are necessary.
 

 
******Experience using Joomla and VirtueMart are required******
 

 
HAVING YOUR OWN LAPTOP W/ NECESSARY SOFTWARE A PLUS!
 

 
Specifically, we’re looking for a designer with:
 
• Extensive experience in Open Source, FTP, Content Management Systems (CMS), Flash, jquery, and/or PHP/MySQL preferred
 
• Expertise using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Acrobat and Office
 
• Ability to develop websites, including design and deployment of new landing pages and able to create designs that are cross-browser friendly
 
• Experience with logo design and brand design execution
 
• Ability to design visually appealing, persuasive email marketing campaigns
 
• Strength in designing to SEO best practices
 
• Ability to optimize the design and feature set of social media profiles, including Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter profile pages
 
• Good communication skills who is open to input and cooperative from concept through completion
 
• A curious mind always willing to break into new areas and try new things. The key is an openness towards accepting flexibility and change

Responsibilities include:
 
• Work directly with company CEO to make updates to the existing sites.
 
• Help with the design and implementation of new features to improve the customers shopping experience.
 
• Collect images and descriptions from the manufacturers for new products that will be shown on line.
 
• Develop new relevant content for the sites.
 

 
Salary: $10-$15/hr, DOE
 

 
This is an hourly based position and does not include benefits at this time. But if you’re good at what you do, that will change very soon!
