HR professionals looking to add depth to their skills in the areas of HRIS, while, at the same time, keeping their hand on the other functions within HR such as employee benefits, have an excellent opportunity to do both as an HR Generalist for Axway in Phoenix, Arizona. As the organization’s go-to person for employee information and employee benefit administration, you’ll effectively serve as the champion in this area to our everyday employees, as you explain benefit options, manage open enrollment and address other issues. On the HRIS side, you’re positioned to make a major impact on our ADP HRB to Workforce Now migration by taking a hands-on role on fully integrating this system and consolidating disparate information into ADP. A self-starter, you’re someone who’s comfortable juggling multiple tasks and committed to making our department highly proactive in its efforts and outreach. As our Phoenix-based HR Generalist, your first mission will be to dive into the ADP HRIS system as we upgrade from HRB to Workforce Now. One of your challenges will be to integrate data that still resides outside of ADP, in Excel and other databases, and bring it into ADP. Maintaining personnel records in the HRIS will allow you to track performance measures, pay scales and other metrics. As you gain mastery of the overall system, we’ll look to you for leadership in introducing and providing training on other Workforce Now capabilities, including performance management, recruiting, and manager access modules. You’ll work closely with payroll in this position and you’ll ensure that all i’s are dotted and t’s crossed when it comes to getting both new hires and current employees fully informed about benefit plans and options. A key part of your responsibilities will be onboarding new hires, ensuring that these individuals complete and present all necessary paper work, such as I-9 and e-Verify data, and get off to great starts. The one constant you can count on here is an HR department always looking to better the services it provides to management and staff.
