The HR Coordinator will provide guidance, support, and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of the Human Resources department. The main responsibility of HR coordinator is to assist the Director of HR in the administrative aspects of the department.
The dynamic candidate will possess:
· 1-2 years experience in a Human Resources role.
· Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
· Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills
· Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office Proficient.
· Professional telephone skills and excellent listening skills.
· Able to handle multiple projects in a fast moving environment.
· Detail oriented.
· Ability to handle confidential information with maturity.
· Excellent organization skills and ability to meet deadlines
· Serves as an HR contact for associate and vendor questions.
· Updates employee information, creates new hire employee files.
· Manages employee verification requests.
· Assists in HR audits.
· Assist with employee injury claims and communication.
· Assist with COBRA administration and ensure compliance.
· Assist with new hire on boarding process.
· Ability to follow up with hiring managers to ensure completeness of employee file.
· Manage background check process with third party vendor.Skills/Requirements
High School diploma/GED
BA/BS preferred
Experience with Paychex payroll and HRO system a plus
Experience with Taleo talent acquisition software a plus- Location: North Phoenix
- Compensation: $15.00 per hour
