Basic Function: To support the Human Resource Department with all HR Generalist responsibilities. This position also manages the front desk, including welcoming visitors/applicants and answering phones.
Full-time position; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday
Job Duties: (Include however not limited to)
Managing the front desk, welcoming visitors/candidates, answering phone calls.
Maintain and organizing prospective employee files.
Call applicants to remind them of upcoming interviews and request their attendance.
Perform all pre-employment background checks.
Interview applicant verifying information in application is current and correct.
Once applicant is hired, create and maintain the employee personnel and medical file.
Assist New Hire Orientation.
Add new employee into ADP. This includes entering address, phone number, emergency contact information, tax information, salary information and medical information.
Manage Performance reviews for timely completion by managers.
Ensure that all certifications (DOT, TB, CPI,CPR, Fingerprint cards, etc) are up-to-date, tracking expiration dates.
Manage the Perfect Attendance Program
Manage the inventory of radios for drivers.
Maintain and send fingerprints applications for new hires to Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS). If new hire has existing fingerprint card, a call to DPS has to be made to verify card is valid.
Maintain shirt room. Order shirts if needed.
Upon completion of training enter all training codes and expiration dates into HRB.
Manage WOTC for applicable tax credits.
Serve as a backup when the Payroll Coordinator is out.
Assist Human Resource Manager with any other project or task when needed.
Check, open and reply to e-mail. Check calendar for any anniversaries, reports due, or meetings. Take supply orders from staff and send to Executive Assistant.Physical Requirements of the Job:
This job requires that you sit at a desk the majority of the day, with some lifting, bending and stooping.Skills and Requirements needed:
ADP experience with HRB, EZ Labor systems.
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and regulations.
Collect, interpret and analyze complex information.
Answering multiple phone lines
Work independently.
Be a positive team player.
Provide excellent customer service internally and externally.
Demonstrate time management skills for prioritizing and planning.
Multi-task and balance workload.
Detailed oriented and accurate.
Communicate effectively both verbally and written in English.Skills:

Applicant MUST be able to:Provide a valid AZ driver’s license.
No felonies; be able to obtain Fingerprint Card
Education and Experience:
HS graduate, college degree preferred
1 – 2 yrs of Human Resource experience
PHR Certificate desired
