DESCRIPTION

Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative is currently accepting applications for Information Technology Manager.

DUTIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for all of the Cooperative’s software, hardware, plant wiring, networking, telecommunications, data integrity, WEB sites, cyber security, physical security, data availability, and IT documentation. Travel will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements are a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or closely related computer field with five years related experience or some comparable combination of experience and education; A Master’s degree is preferred. The successful candidate must possess a strong knowledge of internal operations of a network both LANs and WANs, firewalls, routers, switches, computer systems, associated peripheral equipment, Microsoft Windows operating systems, ESRI GIS/mapping, Linux operating system, enterprise backup and anti-virus, Microsoft SQL Server and Exchange, Oracle, Ethernet, fiber optics, wireless technology, phones, and radio frequency communications.

Must possess a valid AZ driver’s license. All offers of employment are contingent upon passing physical, drug screen, criminal and driving background checks, and employment reference checks.
