MGM Resorts International has an exciting career opportunity for an Intstructional Designer – Internal Marketing.
Design and produce training courses and materials to support marketing programs and marketing technology including quick references, instructor references, user guides, job aids, and web-based courses.
Update and revise existing training courses and materials.
Collaborate with subject matter experts.
Assist with the documentation of training plans.
Assist with scheduling, facilitation, and verification of training for marketing programs and marketing technology.
Identify opportunities and make recommendations for new training and improvements to existing training programs.
Assist with the design and copy-writing of corporate communications.
Develop and maintain a strong and productive relationship with corporate, property, and subject matter expert contacts.
Required:
At least 1-2 years previous instructional design experience preferably in sales, marketing, casino, or software industry.
Must have strong written and visual communication design skills.
Must have strong presentation and organizational skills.
Must have strong attention to detail and able to deliver a polished and finished product.
Must have ability to execute multiple projects with timeliness and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Visio.
Proficiency in at least two graphics software programs including Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXpress, or SharePoint Web Designer.
Preferred:
Four-year college degree in Instructional Design, Communications, or related field.
