The Business Analyst is responsible for following the entire project lifecycle from design to test and implementation in coordination with the Project Manager and development team. The position consists of working on multiple large web sites and/or tools initiatives. The candidate will interact and coordinate with multiple teams (client, product management, internal design & development).

The candidate must be able to work independently in a fast paced environment, along with having strong communication and team based skills to execute projects with demanding deadline expectations.

**The Responsibilities:
-Consult with customers and internal project team members to analyze and understand project needs. Responsible for understanding the big picture of how the project will integrate with the overall goals of the business and brand initiatives, along with providing ideas and recommendations on how to evolve the project over time.
-Responsible for understanding and documenting all the inputs, processes and outputs necessary to develop a specific application/feature. Conducts research and analysis of how the processes and data inputs will impact the individual application/feature or larger web infrastructure.
-Develop detailed business user stories, acceptance criteria, system documentation, work flow procedures, and additional project documentation or artifacts..
-Coordinate with development and testing teams to facilitate testing of projects including unit, assembly and regression.
-Facilitate project scoping in conjunction with the development and project management teams.
-Lead effort to develop and document internal processes and procedures.
-Maintain a working knowledge of all team projects.
-Coordination with client and team on post-project maintenance and support activities.
-Provide project metrics, as needed, based on contract.
-Work with team to create training documentation or other supporting artifacts.
-Facilitate end user training, based on contract.
-Participate in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends and best practices in order to strengthen organizational and technical knowledge.

**Qualified candidates should possess the following:
-Minimum of 4 years experience within business operations or systems development in a web environment, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
-Can demonstrate experience with various development methodologies. (Waterfall, SCRUM, Kanban, Extreme, etc.)
-High level of computer literacy with spreadsheets, word processing and database software and/or business systems
-Experience creating and maintaining system and training documentation
-Demonstrated experience with project tracking software. JIRA is a plus.
-Versed in Business Process Re-engineering concepts and methods.
-Demonstrated knowledge of web and mobile technologies.
-Proven communication skills – Oral, written, listening.
-Good analytical and negotiation skills, and close attention to detail.
-Ability to lead, facilitate, and organize.
-Strong interpersonal and motivation skills.
-Experience working with multiple teams
-Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
-Able to perform and willing to learn in a fast moving environment with limited management oversight
-Ability to treat people with respect under all circumstances, instill trust in others while upholding the values of the organization
-Ability to work well as part of a team; to exhibit objectivity and be open-minded towards the ideas and views of others, give as well as welcome feedback, contribute to building team spirit, aid others to succeed

**Education:
-Bachelors degree, preferably in business or technology related field.
-Masters Degree a plus.
-SCRUM, Agile or PMI certification a plus.
