Description:
GlowHat is looking for a recent graduate or entry level junior marketer who has a passion for learning the Google algorithm and building links to our clients websites to improve their websites rankings in Google.
You’ll be working on a wide array of search marketing and social marketing activities.

Responsibilities:
As a Jr. Search Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for the full-cycle of link-building initiatives: planning, coordinating, executing, tracking, analyzing and then repeating
Contacting relevant blogs/news outlets to get them writing about our products/websites
Getting how-to & resource-oriented websites to link to our sites
Submitting sites to relevant web directories, social media sites, participation in forums, etc
Content writing and content submission
Developing & implementing other ways to acquire incoming website links
Social media marketing
Search Engine Optimization
PR Press Releases
Writing

Desired skills/competencies/qualities:
Desired Education: Marketing, Journalism, Computer Science, Communications, Information Systems, Business, Statistics or related major
Experience: Entry Level but internship/part-time/summer job/etc experience with at least 2 employers (GlowHat will provide job skill specific training but applicants must have a solid understanding of the Internet, copywriting, customer service and Internet technologies)
Your own blog(s)
Basic HTML or image editing experience
Facebook account with over 150 friends
Twitter account with over 150 followers
Participation in the social web (blogosphere, 4chan, youtube, reddit, etc.)
Stays up to date on new changes to the web and actively reads several blogs
Outstanding written communication skills
Online PR experience desired. Ex. Contacting relevant blogs/news outlets to get them writing about our customers products/websites
