    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Juvenile Justice Services Division (JJSD) of the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) seeks a talented individual in the capacity of Specialist V within the Treatment, Contracting, Monitoring and Program Development Unit. The JJSD Treatment Unit is responsible for the efficient and professional contracting, monitoring, and oversight of a network of contracted vendors who provide services to youth and families involved with the juvenile courts and probation offices.

    This position has day-to-day involvement in the solicitation, development and execution of contracts and associated contract monitoring activities. This position also provides technical assistance to contracted vendors and probation departments and participates in performance improvement and associated research activities.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field or administration and three years experience working in juvenile justice system, behavioral health care delivery system or youth related agency. This position also requires the ideal candidate to have: knowledge of the behavioral health, child welfare and juvenile justice programs including federal and state statutes and policies; ability to demonstrate effective and articulate written and verbal communication with all levels of staff and management, as well as outside agencies.

    Travel level: up to 25%.
