Arizona Priority Care Plus is a physician owned accountable care medical group that contracts with physicians, hospitals and other health care providers in the community to deliver affordable, quality health care on behalf of various health insurance companies. AzPCP believes that Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) are the heart of the medical home and the backbone of a successful delivery system. We are NOT a staffing company.

The PRE-CERTIFICATION LPN provides oversight for authorizing those services that require prior authorization, acts as a liaison between AzPCP and the established ancillary provider network. He/she is responsible for implementing and coordinating all utilization management functions relating to the pre-authorization of select durable medical equipment, part B medications, home health care and transportation. They assist in assuring the medical necessity and appropriateness of the delivery of health care resources provided to the members as per their benefit package. This is accomplished through the medical review of outpatient ancillary service requests, utilizing established criteria and guidelines.

The essential talent required:

- Minimum of 3 years progressive clinical experience is desired.

- Familiarity with Home Healthcare services and Durable Medical equipment is a plus.

- Must hold a current Arizona LPN/LVN license.

- Knowledge of basic nursing protocols, ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

- Detail oriented, able to function under pressure and ability to re-prioritize tasks as needed are desired.

- Excellent Customer service skills, data entry skills, and comfort using the computer will contribute to the applicant’s success at performing the job requirements of this position.
