Marketing Assistant (Challenger Space Center Arizona)

This part-time position will assist the Executive Director and Saturday Promotions
Manager in implementing a broad array of marketing programs which generate traffic for the museum and heighten awareness of Challenger Space Center Arizona and its programs. Marketing duties include working with media promotions, publishing and assisting with web site maintenance, creation of flyers and ads using consistent themes and branding, coordinating special events, promoting all the center‚s existing and upcoming exhibits and programs and tracking results of promotional campaigns.Qualifications:
* 2 years of marketing experience. Perfect for college student or anyone interested in a rewarding position working for a charitable institution that provides fascinating space and science programs to the general public and educational institutions.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills including the ability to track
results, follow a budget and work under deadlines
* Self-starter and ability to work independently
* Computer Skills including Microsoft Office required
* Quark, Publisher, or similar publishing software experience required
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to the benefit of the overall business
and facility
* Interest in space, science, aeronautics, and museums is preferred
