Vanir CM currently has a unique opportunity for a talented individual to assist in the continued strategic growth of our organization. The position of Business Development Specialist, located in Sacramento, California, will work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver intelligent solutions that ensure quality services. As part of our team, the Business Development Specialist will possess a unique role in helping to further define, develop, and propel our Corporate Marketing and Business Development group to new levels. This position will be working with with both internal and external clients to ensure quality proposal services. Job Requirements

• Ideal candidates should possess 7-10 years experience in a marketing and/or business development role within in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction (AEC) Industry.
• Knowledge and experience marketing professional services and familiarity with industry terms, contracts, deliverables and processes is necessary.
• Must be a self-starter, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and have strong organizational skills.
• Advanced level skills in technical writing, proposal development, and editing.
• Knowledge of graphic design software such as In Design is required.
• Ability to collaborate with the regional Marketing Managers, Project Executives, Project Managers and relevant consultants in the proposal preparation process.
• Knowledge of RFP and proposal life-cycle processes is required.
• Strong and effective communication, writing, and computer skills are essential.
• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, English, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field is desired.
