Marketing Technology Director (Verde Valley)

  • University degree in computer science, business administration, marketing technology, or related field. Creative, results driven leader with a minimum of five years of current experience working as a marketing and technology Director. Must be adept at:
     
    • E-Commerce technology architecture and integration
     
    • Global IT delivery and project management
     
    • Leading edge software development
     
    • Electronic commerce strategy and development
     
    • Evaluate and select web application hosting providers
     
    • Search engine optimization
     
    • Shopping cart expertise
     
    • Strategic analysis
     
    • Assessment, evaluation and management of marketing and technology staff
     
    Responsibilities:
     
    1. Assures the successful execution of the company e-Commerce marketing mission through development and deployment of the web presence.
     
    2. Identify opportunities and risks for delivering company services, in part as a web-based business, including identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical obstacles to business success.
     
    3. Identify technology trends to support the success of the business.
     
    4. Evaluate and identify technology platforms, including web application frameworks) for delivering product information.
     
    5. Prioritize technology marketing initiatives by setting timetables for the development, deployment and evaluation of all web-based services.
     
    6. Development and execution of information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and servers.
     
    7. Development and execution of disaster recovery plan.
     
    8. Participate and oversee the registration of web site domain names.
     
    9. Establish a software revision control system.
     
    10. Establish web-based internal communication systems.
     
    11. Develop coding conventions and documentation standards.
     
    12. Conduct code reviews and conformance testing.
     
    13. Establish and monitor a web analytics regime that measures site traffic and application usage.
     
    14. Provide search engine optimization.
     
    15. Ensure company technological processes and customer-facing services comply with applicable laws and regulations for privacy, security and social responsibility.
     
    Knowledge:
     
    1. Minimum of three years experience managing web application development.
     
    2. Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular web application framework.
     
    3. Familiar with more than one software development methodology.
     
    4. Skill with CSS, XHTML, one or more Javascript frameworks, and AJAX.
     
    5. Knowledge of web standards.
     
    6. Experience with UNIX system administration and web server configuration.
     
    7. Knowledge of Internet protocols and RFC standards and database management.
     
    8. Expertise with the technical requirements of Internet marketing and SEO.
