The Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen) is pleased to announce a unique academic opportunity: the 2012 Helios Scholars paid summer internship program in biomedical research.
Spend your summer unlocking the molecular mysteries of cancer, neurological disease, and diabetes under the mentorship of a TGen scientist. Internships are available in all areas of translational science including:
-Laboratory research
-Clinical research
-Computational Biology
-Bioinformatics.

Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible, a 2012 applicant must:
Be at least 16 years of age by June 4, 2012;
Be a U.S. Citizen, hold a Green Card (Permanent Resident) or an F1 visa;
Be a full-time student during the Fall 2012 semester;
Attend a high school OR college in Arizona, OR have graduated from an Arizona high school and attend college out of state; and
Be available to work 40 hours per week from June 4 — July 27, 2012- Location: Downtown Phoenix
- Compensation: $10/hr for high school, $12.50/hr for undergrad, $15/hr for grad/med students
