  • The Cesar Chavez Education Institute is a project of the National Farm Workers Service Center that was founded by Cesar Chavez in 1966. The Institute was established as a non-profit organization for the purpose of increasing the educational opportunities available to students in low performing schools and offers who can benefit from additional instructional services (after school tutoring) to achieve help build students academic achievement and overall school performance. .a higher level of learning.

    We are currently looking for enthusiastic and energetic Part Time Tutors in various school districts the city of Phoenix that are willing to work 5 to 6 hour per week with English Language Learners (ELL) elementary and middle school students between the hours of 3pm to 5pm Monday thru Thursday. We are in current need of hiring tutors for the following school districts:

    Avondale
    <br>
    Glendale
    <br>

    <br>
    To qualify for this position, you must possess one of the following plus a Current Fingerprint Clearance Card.
    <br>

    <br>
    Possess a BA or BS from an accredited institution
    <br>
    Teaching Credential
    <br>

    <br>
    Must have reliable transportation and be willing to work with ELSL elementary and middle school students. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Teachers, Substitute Teachers, and Tutors are encouraged to apply.

    Title: Academic Tutor
    <br>
    Pay: up to $30/hr with minimum qualifications depending on degree
    <br>
