You will be responsible for the company’s corporate communications initiatives, with a particular emphasis on media relations and PR. You must also have the ability to work collaboratively with outside PR firms. You must be self starter with excellent organizational and communication skills, must have a positive energy, flexible attitude, outstanding communications skills and strong knowledge of media. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential to your ability to succeed.

Required Qualifications:
• Creative and strategic thinking skills
• Exceptional writing skills and public speaking ability
• Demonstrated success in coordinating multiple projects and implementing ongoing PR plans
• Ability to plan, organize and establish priorities to achieve consistent results
• Think smart, move fast mentality
• Immediate availability
• College degree

Preferred:
• PR/media relations experience
• Excellent media relationships
• Proven success securing broadcast, print and online coverage
• Expert knowledge of media relations tools

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement PR strategies, programs and plan
• Develop and maintain relationships with key media to generate positive, relevant and on-message press coverage
• Manage media lists, contact and follow up
• Manage PR timetable and schedule of deliverables
• Write and/or review press releases, pitches and other media collateral with the objective or generating significant print, broadcast and online media coverage
• Identify news opportunities and story angles
• Book interviews
• Plan and manage special events
• Work with all areas of the company to identify and develop opportunities
• Generate reports and develop presentations
• Work well with leadership
• Other work as assigned
