The Integrative Pain Center of Arizona is an industry-leading interdisciplinary center for the treatment of pain. It is the only practice in the state of Arizona, and one of two in the entire Southwest region of the United States, to be designated a Center of Excellence by the American Pain Society.

With continued growth of our practice we are adding team members and currently hiring for the position of care coordinator.

Care Coordinator Role/Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and manage patient and clinic flow during the office visit
• Patient advocate – facilitate effective relay of information between patient, care team and provider within our office and with outside offices, both during and after the office visit, to achieve the best possible outcome for the patient.
• Patient Resource – direct, educate, and assist the patient in the next step of their care, and further develop the best use of the electronic medical record.
• Customer Service Specialist — insure patient concerns and questions are addressed in a timely fashion

Qualifications needed:
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn new skills and teach others
• Able to evaluate problematic situations, develop solutions and collaborate with providers to achieve the best possible outcome for the patient.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting and clinical knowledge is a plus but not required.

Physical Demands:
• Sittiing, walking, and standing
• Use of computer, telephone, facsimile/copier/scanner
• Must be able to work in an open room with moderate noise level
