Requirements
- 5 to 7 years buying experience preferably in the construction industry
- Good negotiating, cost analysis & problem resolution skills
- Computer literate & attention to detail
- Bachelors degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Request quotes, evaluate & analyze results, & negotiate with potential suppliers
- Generate purchase orders
- Resolve invoicing discrepancies
- Maintain computerized records
- Monitor shipments to determine status of open orders
- Develop & maintain contact with vendors
