Corpedia is looking for a strong Quality Control Lead (Contractor) to come in and build/reengineer our QA processes and procedures from the ground up. We expect the initial phase of this project to be a 45 — 60 day assignment at which point we will re-evaluate the project needs. They will work with product owners and management to define testing strategies and plans for the QC process. This will also be a hands on role, so the ideal candidate will also be able to roll up their sleeves perform the work as well. The QC lead will also provide regular metrics to management on quality levels. We are looking to fill this role ASAP so the successful candidate should be available to start immediately.

Required Skills

* 10+ years experience in a quality assurance role
* Prior Team Leadership as a Quality Assurance Lead or Manager (min 3+ years)
* Solid experience in Quality Assurance best practices.
* Experience testing web based applications in various frameworks and technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Java, C#, SQL Server
* Ability to lead and mentor a team with various levels of testing skills/capabilities
* Ability to define and write test plans, scenarios and test cases
* Familiarity with automated testing tools, defect tracking tools
* Individual must be capable of building a QA team from the ground up with ability to show results quickly.

Nice to have:

* Experience with Learning Management Systems or Content Testing a Plus
* Prior E-Learning Experience a Plus
