    Job summary:
    At eegee’s, the Assistant managers are crucial in assisting the store manager to run the store. These are key positions necessary to ensure the success in leading/mentoring the employees you supervise. This is done by excellent leadership and training and simply by teaching someone something new every day. The Assistant Manager is challenged to run the store under the guidance of the Store Manager as a team, meeting profitability goals which include food cost and labor cost. Performing management duties and conducting ongoing training is the cornerstone to an efficient and clean restaurant environment. The Assistant Managers must accomplish all of this while working with the employees as well as the other members of the management team. They also must complete all administrative duties to provide the necessary documentation to the company while making sure that the store is clean, safe and enjoyable for the customers.

    Job Duties and Responsibility
    • Customer focus
    o Develop and nurture relationships between yourself, your employees and eegee’s customers.
    o Develop and maintain a sales focused environment through suggestive selling and increasing customer check averages.
    o Focus on the customer’s needs and motivate yourself and staff to meet and exceed those needs.
    o Instill proactive approach to customer support among the staff using ongoing coaching and training.
    • Leadership and Talent Management
    o Assist Store Manager in recruiting, hiring and developing effective team members for your staff.
    o Implement progressive corrective actions to address deficiencies in performance or failure to comply with company policies.
    o Develop and support a high energy work environment that maximizes the potential for employees and exemplifies eegee’s commitment to excellence.
    • Food Service Operations Standards
    o Maintain eegee’s training and certification while monitoring employees to ensure they do the same.
    o Comply and promote state, federal and corporate requirements for food handling while maintaining required certification.
    • Financial accountability
    o Assist Store Manager by analyzing financial performance of the store and implementing actions to address profits/loss.
    o Assist Store Manager analyzing and interpreting reports focused on labor hours, sales and fixed costs to optimize profit.
    o Assist Store Manager manage manpower, equipment and resources effectively and minimize waste
    Skill Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 1 – 2 years QSR experience as a manager.
    • General computer knowledge, email and internet know-how.
    • Foundational knowledge using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Quality assurance skills such as implementing food quality controls and customer evaluations.
    • Excellent leadership and training skills
