Senior Director of QA, B2B Corporate Program — Global IT Quality Strategy

This is a career defining opportunity for the seasoned QA leader who possesses an established record of designing and implementing lean and adaptive quality programs for enterprise-level software organizations. In this high visibility role you will define and implement Axway’s global QA B2B strategy and lead a distributed international team of more than 40 QA professionals. As a key player in the B2B / B2Bi corporate program you will report to the VP of Product Management & Development for the B2B Corporate Program. This challenging role will require iron-clad knowledge of QA best practices and methodologies and a fire-in-the-belly mentality to drive world class quality into all of our product development activities.

Based in our Phoenix, AZ headquarters your initial focus will be to examine our current testing infrastructure and the processes and procedures that we employ. The next step will be to design a highly efficient global quality strategy that includes both short and long term objectives and deliverables. Strong communication and determination will be needed to communicate your vision to senior management and across the organization as you implement your plan. In-depth knowledge gained through a history of advancement in the QA arena, teamed with your leadership and experience with service-oriented IT business and true enterprise level software will give you the foundation needed to succeed. Additional experience with B2B, EDI, MFT, security, Java technologies, enterprise integration, and networking / Internet standards will add to your candidacy. This role will require international travel on a quarterly basis and the ability to interact with a diverse global audience including executive management, sales, vendors, customers, engineering and the product team. The successful candidate will have expertise over his domain, have the ability to articulate pain points and develop and implement plans to solve business and quality problems.
