We are looking for a mid to senior level web application developer with 5+ years of experience to administrate and grow a high volume multi-million dollar PHP/MySQL application. Projects will include a wide range of development, maintenance, and implementation activities for a CRM and affiliate tracking platform. Activities include development of platform infrastructure components in support of application content, applications content in the form of meta-data and page templates, data feeds design, implementation, and handling, platform performance optimizations, and development and deployment of dynamic offers. · Technical Skills
• Must Have
- Experience developing software using PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++
- Experience with large scale and high performance web applications in PHP5
- Highly proficient in designing, coding and supporting a PHP5 web based solution.
- Advanced skills in high volume database management and performance tuning with a preference on MySQL and SQL Server
- Able to be the technical single point of contact for managing a PHP based CRM and affiliate tracking platform
- Experience writing and performance tuning complex SQL/Transact-SQL statements
- Hands on experience with unit testing, system testing, user acceptance testing and performance testing
- Able to hand-type HTML and JavaScript and CSS
- Exceptional graphic design skills (Photo Shop, Dream Weaver, illustrator, etc) and content creation is a plus
- Use of source code management systems (SVN)
- Domain Name management, DNS configuration
• Nice to Have
- Understand application backup and disaster recovery
- Experience in designing both normalized and de-normalized data models to support reporting and analytics
- Building reports in SSRS
- ETL knowledge using SSIS
- Skilled in creating conceptual, logical and physical data models
- How to implement PHP memory caching
- Understands both Inmon and Kimball data warehousing methodologies
- Understands Search Engine Optimization and Keyword placement
