Senior Manager Marketing Analytics (Phoenix)

Carrington College is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Analytics.
The Sr. Manager of Marketing Analytics will proactively drive data intelligence and insights and provide actionable recommendations to the marketing leadership team in order to drive positive results on established business metrics and goals. Will work heavily with the marketing leadership team to understand business goals and create solutions to measure progress against both department goals and goals within each functional area. This role is also responsible for the marketing ‘data strategy’ as it relates to multi-faceted, advanced tracking mechanisms, data quality/governance, data accessibility & security. Will interface heavily with Marketing, Enrollment Services, and IT teams to manage analytic resources at our institution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Drive actionable insights and recommendations; communicate to leadership team/management.
•Use advanced analytics and business judgment to identify, prioritize and solve complex business problems.
•Develop analytical plans and strategies to improve the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
•Lead the creation and adoption of advanced marketing tracking tools & methodologies.
•Build and manage a group of team-oriented, top-caliber analysts.
•Ensure rigorous quality control over data, analyses and metrics.
•Oversee reporting for the marketing department.
•Facilitate an analytical environment and foster data accessibility by providing reporting and analytic tools to the marketing leadership team.
•Leads modeling and measurement activities to make informed spending decisions using simulation models, ROI assumptions and trade-off analysis scenarios to help maximize performance.
•Provide hands-on guidance and (when required) personally perform deep-dives using analytical and statistical tools on very large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets.
•Manage multiple analytical projects at once in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment.
•Become a company-wide thought leader on data mining, testing and optimization, reporting, web and marketing analytics.
•Develop solutions and establish processes & measurement protocols; create organizational clarity and alignment for key business and marketing metrics.Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s strongly preferred.
•Minimum 8 years experience working in an analytical capacity (and also reporting).
•Minimum 10-15 years of marketing experience.
•Solid understanding of marketing measurement fundamentals.
•Experience with web analytics, including using tools such as Webtrends and/or Omniture.
•Experience with other digital tools such as Comscore, Hitwise, Radian6 and other data tools.
•SQL proficient; Comfortable with databases.
•Experience with a data warehouse environment and Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Cognos BI, etc.
•SPSS or SAS skills.
•Strong leadership & communication skills.
•Strong project management skills.
