Leading data migration company looking for mid-level technical professionals with 3 – 5 years of practical experience in IT with 2 – 3 years of experience with VMware. Primary responsibility includes manging VMware system, and perform storage vMotion of data from old SAN/NAS storage to new SAN/NAS storage.

System administrator will work independently or as part of a team to conduct technical project specific tasks that may include but not be limited to:
• Assist in gathering, documenting and analyze system requirements
• Assist in the development of the overall technical solution
• Install/Configure/Troubleshoot/Support technical solutions as designed in a production environment.
• Document installation/configuration information
• Develop, Document, Perform test cases and scenarios
• Provide escalation support to customers and other contractors
• Serve as technical liaison to other vendors providing hardware/software/integration services
• Provide status reports to Project Manager

Requirements:
• Virtualization Expertise: Minimum 1+ years of implementing and/or maintaining a VMware Infrastructure (vSphere 4.x or 5.x).
• VMware Certified professional plus
• SAN/NAS storage experience/certification plus
• Networking experience/certification plus
• Knowledge and/or hands on experience with 1 – 3 other virtualization related technologies such as:
o VMware vCenter
o vMotion
o Storage vMotion
o Physical to Virtualization Migrations
