Service Manager

  • Arizona’s fastest growing HVAC Company is seeking a highly qualified, motivated, highly energetic aggressive Service Manager with a “no nonsense” attitude to manage our professional service staff and estimators.

    Summary of Position:
    The Service Manager provides leadership and supervision to the Service Department and assists with company goals to capture business and grow our sales and customer base. Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of duties in accordance with standard HVAC sales/service industry procedures. Assists service technicians with customer service calls, assists customers with concerns.

    Responsibilities:
    o Motivate and train technicians in HVAC service procedures, sales techniques, and customer service methods
    o Effectively manage service force of 40+ members
    o Assist in development and implementation of new sales campaigns designed to increase company sales and customer base
    o Set aggressive and realistic weekly, monthly, and yearly sales growth benchmarks
    o Work with other department managers on overall company marketing and sales strategy
    o Assist management with various related duties/projects as required
    o Ability to multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
    o Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal or no supervision

    Requirements:
    o Capacity to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while managing a service and sales force and orchestrating training for subordinates as needed.
    o 3-5 years in Sales Management experience, Associates Degree, PLUS 5+ Years in the HVAC industry. Professional Accreditations (NATE and/or CETP plus EPA) PREFERRED
    o Basic math skills and computer literacy, proficient in MS Office & contact management programs (ACT! & QuickBooks)
    o Strong attention to detail, strong follow-up skills, highly organized, & solutions-based
    o Basic clerical skills including typing 25+ wpm & with excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
    o Communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
    o Prompt and regular attendance
