Shetler Security Services, AzSGA license 1567572, is accepting applications and interviewing for full-/part-time Security Guard Rover positions.

This solicitation is for a high end designated client with multiple locations.

A Rover is a multi-purpose position requiring a security officer to be trained at multiple posts to provide available trained personnel to temporarily fill-in for call-off’s, no-shows, vacations and/or open shifts. The Rover must be available for short-notice as well as extended-duty assignments. Schedule flexibility is required in personnel assigned to these positions.

Hours are estimated at 30 to 40 per week.

Applicants must have a current Arizona Security Guard license and their own reliable transportation; due to post locations, public transportation will not be considered ‘reliable’. In addition, all applicants must:

 Be a US citizen, by birth or naturalization
 Be at least 21 years old
 Possess at least a high school or general equivalency diploma
 Be in possession of a valid, unrestricted (except corrective lenses) Arizona driver’s license (minimum 36-month driving history report required)
 Be able to read and comprehend directions and instructions issued in English, as well as fill out forms and write reports in English
 Be currently registered/licensed with Arizona Department of Public Safety as a security guard
 Be in sound physical and mental health
 Be able to accomplish various physical requirements. Requirements include but are not limited to climbing stairs, walking at least five (5) miles per shift, and lifting a minimum of fifty (50) pounds without difficulty

Pay Rate: $10.50/hour
