Our Chandler, AZ location is currently accepting resumes for a full time Structural Engineer, who will provide design services for our rapidly growing list of clients.  
 
Main Responsibilities: 
 
• Designs structural projects and effectively utilizes other engineering resources to provide complete detailed design packages that meet all aspects of the client’s specifications and design standards  
• Provides all pertinent information and required deliverables for each project. Reviews and comprehends project documents submitted by clients 
• Ensures that all applicable engineering design requirements for applicable codes are incorporated into each design packages 
• Prepares design documents for drafting 
• Prepares engineering calculations for permitting and client review  
 
Experience & Skills: 
 
• Previous structural design experience with emphasis on industrial facilities is strongly preferred 
• Three to five years of relevant work experience 
• Proficient understanding of structural engineering 
• Familiarity with the International building code and thorough understanding of the IBC’s structural design requirements 
• Industrial steel and concrete design experience 
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD and structural modeling software 
• Ability to generate engineered sketches and supervise drawing generation 
• Effective communication and impromptu problem solving skills 
• Ability to follow through in a self-motivated fashion 
• Ability to work in a cost-effective, customer-focused, team-based environment 
• Understanding and skills in assessing a customer’s requirements/needs in the field 
• Tool Install seismic experience is preferred 
 
Education: 
 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university required, Masters Degree preferred 
• Licensed professional engineer (PE) preferred
