Systems Engineer (Downtown Phoenix)

SUMMARY
Plan, coordinate and install computer hardware on-site and remotely.
Maintain the InSite One Data Center facility in Phoenix Arizona.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plan, Manage, Install, and Upgrade of computer systems locally and on-site.
* Assist customer with network connectivity back to InSite One’s Data Centers
* Configure systems to meet customer requirements and ship to site
* Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail and in-person requests for assistance from customers experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking and other computer-related technologies.
* Handles problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to next tier or supervisor.
* Log and track calls using CRM and maintains history records and related problem documentation.

- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot server class hardware. (HP, Dell, and IBM)
- Ability to install and configure Servers with Linux.
- Must have advanced understating of TCP/IP networks.
- Knowledge of VMWare, Cisco(VPN), MySQL, and Blade Servers is a plus.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors of Science Degree or equivalent work experience.
Must possess 2+ years of directly related technical support experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Verbal (English) and written communication skills are required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Maintaining a professional attitude under pressure while managing multiple tasks. Demands may include, but not limited to – Assembling rack systems, moving data center equipment and lifting 10-120 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
24×7 operation, last minute travel will be required. Will work independently and in a team environment.
