This Rockville, MD and Phoenix, AZ based company is seeking to fill an immediate opening for a MIS Engineer. The primary responsibilities include to ensure operability of our Data Center and Server Maintenance. It will require excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Candidates for Serious Consideration Must Demonstrate:

• Data Center Server Management experience
• Window Server Maintenance
• Perform file system configuration
• Participate in design and review of new systems and applications
• Develop and maintain Windows training materials
• Monitor and test system performance; provide performance statistics and reports that include suggestions and recommendations for improvements.
• Implement policies, procedures, and technologies (including firewalls) to ensure Windows system security
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and participate in key process improvements
• Good interpersonal skills to work well and interact with technical and non-technical personnel, including over the phone and via WebEx.
• Ability to analyze technical problems and to quickly improvise and apply solutions.
• Excellent problem solving skills with advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
• Attention to detail.
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related coursework
• 2 yrs experience with maintaining and troubleshooting TCP/IP network LAN/WAN
• Microsoft Certified
• 2 yrs experience in a Tier 2 Support environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
