Technical Support Technician (Tucson)

Process support requests from customers for supported products and platforms.
Apply knowledge of systems to determine feasibility of projects.
Travel to customer sites as required to perform Maintenance/Installations for supported products.
Process support requests from internal employees as needed.
Test and verify new product releases.Maintain and expand knowledge of supported Technology and platforms including, but not limited to:
1. Transact-SQL language and variations thereof as noted by vendors differences
2. Python scripting language
3. Unix/Windows system administration
4. Installation and maintenance on supported platforms, to include application and database servers.
Collaborate with coworkers as required to resolve Hardware and Software issues to provide timely resolution of issues.
Coordinate with customers as required to verify remote access requirements are met, test remote connectivity for Remote Admin and ODC projects
Report Quality Assurance issues.
Maintain communication with customers on open issues to provide status and updates as appropriate.Work on training goals set in training plan as time permits.
Coordinate and provide information or other resources to the development department for calls that have been passed along to them.
Attend Implementation meetings for new or migrating customers as directed by Manager or Team Leader.Coordinate referrals to appropriate technical, services or sales personnel for follow-up.
Self train or request formal training on new features or bug fixes to be prepared for customer questions on new products and features.We will be conducting on-site interviews at our Tucson, Arizona location the week of October 25, 2010 – you will be notified if you qualify.
Job Requirements:
