Foundry layout reference design and QA.

Daily Responsibilities: TMES TMG Custom Foundry group needs a CW to work on the following: The Foundry Design Kit (FDK) group within the Intel Custom Foundry (ICF) organization is looking for qualified Design Automation (DA) candidates for Process Design Kit (PDK) release automation and environment development. Primary responsibilities will focus on architecting and leading development of a robust system for managing FDK releases using Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools/flows to ensure high-quality delivery of kit content to customers.
Responsibilities will include:
1) Co-development and testing of a Linux-based repository system
2) Establishing a robust Makefile-based build system for a design kit;
3) Improving a C++ API to perform Boolean operations using SWIG (C++ code generator).
Required Skills and experience:
• Candidates must possess a BSCS, MSCS, BSEE or MSEE or other engineering field with at least 5 years of recent DA experience. Specific experience in design flows, environments, and/or QA is preferable.

• Familiarity with modular environment techniques such as automated collateral and code generation from centralized databases using Model-View-Controller (MVC) and agile programming techniques.
• Strong proficiency in a few programming languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby, Tcl, C/C++ in a UNIX/Linux environment is required.
• Also, experience in working with EDA data such as SPICE netlists, CAD layout, design simulations or verification, etc. is required.
• Understanding of building flows using Makefiles or a similar framework is a plus.
