Position Description:
 
This position will collaborate in a small team with other web developers, user interface designers, quality assurance staff and DBAs to design and implement technical solutions on new and existing web portals.
 

 
Responsibilities Include:
 
• Create applications in Java/JSP or PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML and action script that are used for dynamic web publishing and the display of dynamic content
 
• Creates efficient, reusable and scalable code used throughout several web applications
 
• Works on areas that require improvement, identifies and implements solutions
 
• Troubleshoots and provides general support and maintenance to various pages, and tools
 
• Troubleshoot Java applications and their interaction with web services, API’s and web pages.
 
• Maintain and update websites as necessary through proprietary content management system.
 

 
Qualifications:
 
• 3+ years professional Java/JSP or PHP experience
 
• 2+ years Web application development experience
 
• Must have direct experience with Web User Interface programming using CSS, DHTML and JavaScript
 
• General understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
 
• Strong understanding of object oriented programming
 
• Knowledge of AJAX/JSON technologies
 
• Application Server experience with Tomcat
 
• Demonstrated ability to work on a diverse scope of projects requiring detailed analysis, creative/practical problem solving, and sound judgment.
 
• Manage multiple projects within a short development cycle with moderate supervision
