The part-time Yoga/Meditation Facilitator must have the knowledge and skills to teach a variety of yoga classes including Yin, Flow & Restorative. Must have the capacity to bring these styles to their most basic (ie yoga essentials) or bring them up to a high-level movement (ie: power yoga). A steady meditation practice, the skills to lead a sitting practice, a familiarity with mindfulness is a must, and a willingness to learn new styles of meditation and yoga are essential. Ideally have 5 years of personal yoga practice, minimal 200 hours Yoga Teacher Certification, 500 hours preferable, and prior teaching experience with various populations. CPR/AED Certified, Personal background with Vinyasa yoga and mindfulness meditation are a plus.
